Rain has come with open arms
Grass has sounded dry alarms
Greening nature it does so well
Growth of gardens we all foretell
Cleans the air for man and beast
Washes away flowers deceased
Symphony sounds from dripping breaks
Downpour sounds of sizzling steaks
Children jumping in puddles of mud
Splashing around in yards that flood
Some with thoughts and looks of pain
When all along we love the rain
