joyful rain

Rain has come with open arms

Grass has sounded dry alarms

Greening nature it does so well

Growth of gardens we all foretell

Cleans the air for man and beast

Washes away flowers deceased

Symphony sounds from dripping breaks

Downpour sounds of sizzling steaks

Children jumping in puddles of mud

Splashing around in yards that flood

Some with thoughts and looks of pain

When all along we love the rain

  1. Nice!
    Ours arrives tonight!

  2. Stay Safe! We are to get heavy rain but I have heard no word on any nasty stuff thankfully this time :)

  3. Thank you for “thankful rain”, rhythm reigns…

  4. Even better now that rain is now overhead and garden is looking lush once again.

Write. Talk. Tell me everything.
