For Maggie – Snowy Farmhouse

I was looking at some of the photos Maggie was sharing, and thought she especially might like this.  I’ll post the original that I snapped outside of the window of the truck…I think we were in Connecticut somewhere at the time.  And the second is the photoshop enhanced version of it that I did.    Actually, I did several different ones, but I think this was my favorite. :) I’m confused about the date.  I was looking on the properties to try to figure it out.  There are 2 dates, but the year of the first is wrong.  It says Dec. 17, 2009, and the modification date was Jan. 7, 2009, and if it was taken in December it would’ve been 2008.  I had thought that blizzard up north was in January, but it may have been December.  I don’t remember.

  1. Anne, thank you. Both of these look very much like prints I either have or have seen. And what a coincidence…my father used to live in CT.

    • :) I had never been to Connecticut, or hardly any of the New England states before that trip through there that winter in the big truck. All we were able to do was drive through there, but it was still nice to say I’d been to those states. I’ve still never been to Maine or Vermont though. Maybe someday. :)

      • I’ve not been to Maine or Vermont either but would love to go. One thing on my bucket list is an autumn swing through New England. My father always said Maine was outstanding.

      • I’ve always wanted to visit Maine someday. And Vermont too…ever since Newhart was on. :) I’ve been to most of the states. There are a few in the Northwest that I’ve never seen, and I’ve never been to Alaska. Was in Hawaii just for a layover on the plane on the way to and from Guam…so I don’t count that. LOL
