Well, at least you have photographed her beauty. I understand about the birds and critters. I used to have a rabbit that would eat my tomatoes, and the birds would eat the fruit and berries…the squirrels would steal the sunflower seeds out of the bird feeder and the pecans off the pecan tree. And all of them knew…I would stand out there and holler out them, but wasn’t going to really do anything to them. LOL

:) I grow mine for them actually it is a Free for All over in my yard you know the saying Can’t FIGHT MOTHER NATURE! lol I never do unless it is filling my home with water lol
oh and wait the night we had all those flying squirells in the bedroom not wanting to go out the window sadly had to put our foot down then now we have a net in case it happens AGAIN lol

These sunflowers look lovely. The French call them ‘tournesol’ – turn to the suns. I think that’s lovely too.

Your countries word for them is beautiful as are Sunflowers and Yes Following the sun is what they do here in NH USA :) Love watching them I need a time lapse camera :)

Sunflower seeds also make really healthy cooking oil. Though in our village people usually roast the seeds and eat them like peanuts. :)

Yes I eat ones from the stores and use oil but these I grow for the ones that pose for me daily lol sort of our deal I feed them and I gets lots of photos
