I'm both a digital and traditional artist, though these days I spend more time painting digitally (from scratch unless otherwise stated). Ink drawing on Canson is my other love and when I have the time and space - acrylics and pastel. My first love was oils but as I can no longer use those safely I am slowly building up my own range of digital brushes to mimic how I once worked on canvas with oils.

Thank you very much. There are elements now known as Zentangles or tangles, but I’ve been doing this kind of patterning since I was a kid, I just didn’t know there would eventually be a name for it :) Since I’ve looked at them I’ve picked up some new ones and added them. They are fun. Trees, leaves and feathers are my big thing and they generally appear somewhere in my ink drawings. I’m so glad you like it. Anything that gets you drawing and enjoying your art has to be good as far as I’m concerned.

Yes love your piece.
I went to art class when I was a young girl and did love pen and ink as well as painting then I grew up and life happened then I hurt so bad I ran away stepped into a rig to make the pain stop
Long story short I sadly had just stuffed it down
Mom is in her 70′s and we got her a Zentangle Kit for her last birthday she loved it she had been a cake Decorator and teacher for it as well
It helps me to relax and loose myself into the lines on the paper doing Yoga now too well for old injured truckers lol
I grow food and flowers so I can take photos of them and their visitors well to eat as well :)
That is when the dog lets me use my right arm for something besides throwing a Frisbee :)
Thanks I think it has been very good for me when I sit alone in my own world and draw. I make each one on my Christmas list a personal card using Zentangle man so much eaier to draw one and PRINT lol or take one of my photos and give them all a copy. :)
