I have a tech question and hope someone can help me. I’ve been all over the internet trying to figure it out without luck. The problem is that the “Follow this Blog” widget on the sidebar is not up to date with the number of followers I have.
I know for certain that yesterday I got a new follower on my “Chronicles of a Writer” blog. Before she joined, the number of followers was 86. Now it should be 87, but guess what? It remains at 86.
I also suspect that it hasn’t moved and there could be other new followers on both this blog and on “Brainstorms.”
I checked the “Follow this Blog” widget to make sure I still had the counter checked. It was.
So I’m stuck. Can you help me?

Sorry I can not help you Maggie I never look at my counts I post mine and then read my reader on WP and 20 Lines for those I follow and sometimes look at fresh pressed I never worried about how many read or looked at my photos lol I just SHARE finally guess we all have different reasons for coming to the BLOG world

I”ve experienced that i takes a bit of time sometimes for it to update. It might just be that?

I am still fairly new and still trying to understand the technical side of ‘here’. I don’t. Can’t fathom a lot of what happens and why. Sometimes I am just amazed at the stats, sometimes they are rubbish. I decided just this morning that I had better start ignoring them or I would drive myself daft.
Have resolved that I will peep at them each Monday and that is it. Good luck with discovering what is going on.
