Beautiful Walk
The woods today smelt like rich earth
Mushrooms and acorns everywhere
Fuzzy caterpillars were seen as well
Tracks left by deer
Scat left from who knows what
There were leaves on the ground
So many still have yet to fall
See fall is really taking hold
The nights colder the sun more precious
Animals looking for shelter
Food as well
So glad I have a home and a warm blanket
A place to lay my head safe from the cold
I just wish everyone else did
