It does look nice when the river is not flooded I try to always take photos of this area to remind me of her true beauty when it is quiet and peaceful like after the first snow has fallen.

Sweeet snow…I miss the snow from the north where I grew up, here in Georgia it so seldom snows and when it does, it doesn’t last for very long. However, I do not miss the ice and subfreezing temps that come with it

Amen to that! I was in Atlanta one year I think 2000 for a NASTY ICE STORM I had to stay with friends and party longer than planned :) I had not seen them in 20+ years so it was nice except the sound of trees snapping all around us all night. We go to GA a lot over to Temple and Delonaga(sp) for GOLD :)
