Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery

Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery is the sixth national cemetery in Texas and the 118th in the national cemetery system.  A United States national cemetery is generally a military cemetery containing the graves of U.S. navy, military personnel and veterans.

I have a great honor and respect for veterans. They put their lives on danger just to protect their country. They are people who sacrifice things you take for granted on a daily basis for years at a time. Such as time with their loved ones, progressing in life towards their dreams and goals etc. That alone deserves respect for the simple fact that it is some difficult that they overcome. They dodge a bullet for us, they die…

I recommend this kind of place to those who are afraid, lonely and distress. GET UP! Go somewhere where you can be quite alone with the heavens.

Psalm 23

1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not be in want. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, 3 he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. 4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 6 Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Psalm 27

The Lord is my light and my salvation—

    whom shall I fear?

The Lord is the stronghold of my life—

    of whom shall I be afraid?

When the wicked advance against me

    to devour me,

it is my enemies and my foes

    who will stumble and fall.

Though an army besiege me,

    my heart will not fear;

though war break out against me,

    even then I will be confident.

One thing I ask from the Lord,

    this only do I seek:

that I may dwell in the house of the Lord

    all the days of my life,

to gaze on the beauty of the Lord

    and to seek him in his temple.

For in the day of trouble

    he will keep me safe in his dwelling;

he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent
