Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery

Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery is the sixth national cemetery in Texas and the 118th in the national cemetery system.  A United States national cemetery is generally a military cemetery containing the graves of U.S. navy, military personnel and veterans.

I have a great honor and respect for veterans. They put their lives on danger just to protect their country. They are people who sacrifice things you take for granted on a daily basis for years at a time. Such as time with their loved ones, progressing in life towards their dreams and goals etc. That alone deserves respect for the simple fact that it is some difficult that they overcome. They dodge a bullet for us, they die…

I recommend this kind of place to those who are afraid, lonely and distress. GET UP! Go somewhere where you can be quite alone with the heavens.

Psalm 23

1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not be in want. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, 3 he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. 4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 6 Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Psalm 27

~*~

The Lord is my light and my salvation—

    whom shall I fear?

The Lord is the stronghold of my life—

    of whom shall I be afraid?

When the wicked advance against me

    to devour me,

it is my enemies and my foes

    who will stumble and fall.

Though an army besiege me,

    my heart will not fear;

though war break out against me,

    even then I will be confident.

One thing I ask from the Lord,

    this only do I seek:

that I may dwell in the house of the Lord

    all the days of my life,

to gaze on the beauty of the Lord

    and to seek him in his temple.

For in the day of trouble

    he will keep me safe in his dwelling;

he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent

Psalm 3

Lord, how many are my foes!

How many rise up against me!

Many are saying of me,

God will not deliver him.”

But you, Lord, are a shield around me,

my glory, the One who lifts my head high.

I call out to the Lord,

and he answers me from his holy mountain.

I lie down and sleep;

I wake again, because the Lord sustains me.

I will not fear though tens of thousands

assail me on every side.

Arise, Lord!

Deliver me, my God!

Strike all my enemies on the jaw;

break the teeth of the wicked.

From the Lord comes deliverance.

Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.

Revelation 20:2-5

And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while. Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls…

I’ve been clawing my way through an extremely difficult transition period for several years now. Every identity I had either slipped away or was stripped away (horrific heart aches, mother died, my family’s never been intact, friends left, etc. etc.) All pretty normal ‘’stuff’’ but the cumulative effect left me quaking. I’d read a bunch of self-help books. Done journal and so on but there were just some very destructive patterns that I wasn’t able to unchain.

Then something shifted. I meditate morning and evening, getting to know God, read His Word. Ever since often a few more times during the day while I do my daily routine. His soft voice calms my mind while His Word calms my body. I am making quantum leaps forward in the dislodgement of my ‘’old pattern’’ thinking. Chaos precedes creation. I have transformed myself from a ‘’glass is half empty’’ person to…

Sometimes it is easy to think that we can do all things in our own, then we stumble, get frustrated and we feel like life seems falling apart. We forget to pray! Pray about it! Often times, we’ve prayed, fasted, explored countless options and feel helpless because of “unanswered” prayers, well maybe we’re lacking of faith. FAITH and PRAYER must come together. Matthew 17:20‘’He replied, “Because you have so little faith.  I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Whenever I read this verse, it brings me peace while I wait! I know that sooner or later God will reveal His purpose in my life. Let’spray and have faith while waiting, for God’s TIMING is PERFECT!

Patience is not just…

Suffering? that is our own decision. We make our own decisions, yet we blame on God because our hearts are torn. We allow our heart to tear, we allow ourselves to fall. It is not that we love God, it is that He LOVED us. God Loved us enough to take our place, our shame and our guilt.

When life gets tough, God is opening your eyes, to trust him, to love him. We wont understand, but that’s where Faith comes in.

  It’s time to be fashioned by fire and come awake! God is calling you today, are you willing?

       Don’t think ahead and don’t think behind.

”Quiet yourself and hear his voice.”

”Trials are not pleasant, but then again this life is not the life we are meant to enjoy. We are meant to count our blessings though and be thankful that the Lord blesses…

Many people come to me and say they cannot enjoy today because of something that happened in the past.Because they did not do something or do it in a certain way in the past, they cannot live a full life today. Because they no longer have something they had in the past, they cannot enjoy today. Because they were hurt in the past, they will not accept love now. Because something unpleasant happened when they did something once, they are sure it will happen again today. Because they once did something that they are sorry for, they are sure they are bad people forever. Because once someone did something to them, it…

Don’t waste time onto anger toward someone who has done against you. Forgive that person today. God knows our situation and He has still called us to forgive, no matter the circumstances. Nobody is perfect, everyone needs to be forgiven. Do not stand in the way of your own relationship with God by denying forgiveness to someone else.

Yes! Throughout life people will make you mad, disrespect you and treat you bad. Let God deal with the things they do, because hate in your heart will devour you too. We should learn to FORGIVE. We don’t have to like them, we do not have to be friends with them, and we do not have to send them hearts in text messages or give them kiss when we see them, but we have  to overlook, to forget, to forgive them through  prayer. Because if we don’t we are tying rocks to…
