Major Intersection…….. Wider View

Se what I mean when you do all you can to protect a tree even one as damaged as this one was by that DAMN

Beaver.

Where would they find another home that quick?

Flying ones used to live in my walls,  no I will keep a place for them to eat, drink and sleep but not with me!

Can you imagine the commune they have it that tree, glad they are quiet down inside that tree .

Do you have a tree like this?

 

I am blessed surly I am, to have this kind of world right outside the window.  I think they like me too.

Down along the rivers edge here at home.

Looking down from bedroom window.  Wildlife is hanging close by for breakfast

This gray Squirrel finally ventured out of the Willow good thing we did not cut it down  and stopped the beaver from doing so.

Here he comes over to the bad door to eat and torment JT lol

This is the other end of the lower yard.

Pretty Pink and Reds

We came across this beautiful site on Christmas Day
Stand right out PINK

I see Deer browsing the tops of what I call Lichen really not sure yet what this is I must look it up unless you know.

It was one of many gifts I got. Today these are under a foot of heavy wet SNOW

SPRAY

Spray

 

Not all days have waves such as this

Some days the are just sweet and lazy

It is days such as this though that bring me such bliss

The sky was such a beautiful Blue without a sign of being hazy.

 

I love the spray as it dances above the waves as if to hold still till I capture it

It seems to add to the beauty of this photo with all the froth of this crashing wave

It is here upon the hill I sit and wait till just the perfect moment click

Though I now know  it is really the peace I find at this special place full of powerful waves I simply crave.

Family Of Three

They always come together

They reside in the worrisome Willow

I left the rest of the tree up as weather is changing

They will need a dry place to stay

They are so much fun to watch

Till they are trying to chew their way into your home

These have to be the best feed trio out there

Chicken scratch and Black Oil Sunflower seeds,  suet too and the river for water

They like this yard too as they have been hanging out together for over a year

No traffic woes here just a big old chewed on Willow

Trees with huge canopy’s to leap from one  to another on

Yes life is good in these parts

My place for pretty curls  has always been the sea  after a nasty ocean storm

Sun was out and curl after curl appeared

Wish I had had a tripod set up  or sat down for these

For tack sharp photos are what most of us are always after

Laid To Rest Up On The Hill

This is a historic area up in Vermont

They discovered  Gold in the river below this hill

I wonder if there are any dead miners who are still around to haunt

The day we were here everything was so still

 

It was a hot day so into the river we went

He had his pan to search for Gold

I had JT with me and into the water she went

I just put my feet in even though the day was HOT the water was COLD

 

So as I sat at the stream I thought of the dead up on the hill

Why did they get buried so far up there upon the hill

I will have to check this place out a little more

Not just because of the Gold he scored

 

Has there been horrible flooding here

You can see this is a very tall hill

A very old place like this is so dear

So should you find yourself  here stop at the top if you will

Fact Finding Walk

Well we headed out on a mission

JT was excited to get going

She stood still as I got her collar on, as well  as her Red scarf

We told her to go out to the truck and she sat beside her door

It is just a 10 minute ride  and I could not wait to go see what the lake

looked like

Yes it was in the yard as it always is at draw down.   I am so tired of

losing the land I pay so much for in taxes , as well as all the work I do to make the lower area

just as pretty as the upper yard

So today JT  and I set out on a mission and you will see lots of photos in days to come

I will post most on Living and Lovin and 20 lines Facebook page
