The Sea King

Snow melted down on Théoule,
But the sea seems cool – no swell -.
After another defeated night,
I regret the sweetest feast.
Was damaged by the shade of Time ;
You all, inanimate objects,
What has become of my soul ?
On that bad galley, I row !
And I need the sea breeze,
Otherwise, I foam and boil with rage
Like a sailor lost in town,
Prisoner of a servile life.
Give me now the sun warmin’
My skin, and like a dragonfly,
I will fly near the water sources
And wish I never bow again !
February, the 24th
So many so little time or space here I do not want to fill 20 Lines with just my shots!
To say we had a nice day was an understatement. Pain for us three after yes but we are better today.
Can’t wait to see what you all did
SHARE!!!!

We got there the other day and when we saw the waves and this heavy stone thrown up on the beach it was more than he could stand. It was too rough to wade into so we went up the road two beach areas away where he found THE Newest Piece of BLING :) and tons of money, coins but money is money isn't it.

Well they say there will be another coastal storm brewing just off our shoreline, so it is time to walk the edge, as the tide turns and heads out and look and see what it has left behind for us. It will be sunny and in the 40's what a perfect BEACH DAY JT likes to walk me into the water so maybe I will even be barefoot.

Not all days have waves such as this
Some days the are just sweet and lazy
It is days such as this though that bring me such bliss
The sky was such a beautiful Blue without a sign of being hazy.
I love the spray as it dances above the waves as if to hold still till I capture it
It seems to add to the beauty of this photo with all the froth of this crashing wave
It is here upon the hill I sit and wait till just the perfect moment click
Though I now know it is really the peace I find at this special place full of powerful waves I simply crave.
When we have a Wild Storm blow through this part of The United States we seem to always be blessed with just the prettiest of days afterwards. So blessed to call this area home. Picturesque to be certain don’t you think?
JT has a very bad Mommy
Today we went to the shore
We met new people and even another dog
It was me who had to tell the cute policeman I was sorry
Seems she is not allowed to be a dog at this place we had found
Such a beautiful spot even if it was very raw out today
Next time we are over this way I will be better behaved

Some rules I will just never understand or maybe I have just always been a REBEL!
Sitting within the deep waters of the sea,
I can see you degrading, getting caught in
time, understanding which ain’t my cup of tea,
I know you want to get rid of your past sin.
You wait for someone to come, pay no pity
but that being must treat you with that dignity-
respect you long for, I know you do want bliss,
Oh the mighty city of the Atlantis.
Rules-
1. Poem is comprised of 8 eleven-syllable lines, usually one stanza.

It poured again this morning but they promised sun by this afternoon
So we headed north into Maine to look for treasure and so exercise.
The dog and I got too much time on the beach both of us hurting bad.
He found earrings and change.
We saw a hint of the sun as we headed out across the marsh on our way home…
Gnarling fury,
Menacing wrath!
From Poseidon’s clutches
Deliver thy torn sail!
Warping whirlpool,
Growling gale!
Hear thy cry,
Wailing screams
Echoing – ing.
Winter’s splash
Strikes cold.

The river seeping down the hill,
Crossing every hurdle, everything in between,
Leaving behind the pleasures of beginning,
Moving on the path where there is nothing but struggle.
It still streams down the hill, across the plateau,
To meet the end, the ultimate end,
Where it would find solace,
Where the journey would end-
The place where everything may not be good,
But this place has to be achieved anyhow,
That is the ultimate aim.
The river reaches the end, gets mixed with it,
Loses its identity,
But at the same time gets a new one that of the sea,
The vast one, a new identity.
The Ocean
Was a place I loved as a teen.
Then it was a place to just be seen.
So many days and nights spent by the shore.
Are you starting to wonder what I went there for?
When I was eighteen it was to sunbathe all day long.
Then when I was in my early twenties, it was where I went to become strong.
I was filled with so much sadness and despair.
It was the only place, I truly felt, that I could disappear.
I had a big decision to make.
The last thing I needed was to make a mistake.
I would walk and walk and walk some more.
Then I would sit really close to the shore.
I didn’t move as the waves came in.
I guess I was hoping for it to wash away my sin.
I cried so many times along this beautiful section of beach.
Why had I not listened to all my Mother had preached.
I went so many years to walk the oceans floor.
I watched as the tides pulled away from the shore.
I made my choice.
I really didn’t have a choice.
I spent so many years in tears.
At this beach I had loved for years.
Fast forward to when I was fifty-three.
When my missing part was standing right beside me.
Life at the ocean and along the shore
Will now hold more than ever before.
I now smile for the world to see.
As I walk along this section of the sea.
It is time for me to let go.
I am sick and tired of always feeling low.
I have met some wonderful people here.
Who I will always hold dear.
The Ocean has now helped me to heal.
I will forever be grateful, once again to be able to feel.
