Such a pretty but cold day here in New England.
It is January 5 TH and with a foot plus of snow still in the yard I suppose it is how it is supposed to be.
I will bite my tongue as Tuesday it will be FORTY!
Hoping the snow I did not get off the roof will run like a faucet then.
We got there the other day and when we saw the waves and this heavy stone thrown up on the beach it was more than he could stand. It was too rough to wade into so we went up the road two beach areas away where he found THE Newest Piece of BLING :) and tons of money, coins but money is money isn't it.
I see a light beam
At the horizon
May be it is an omen
Saying to me
To have some faith
In the decision I have made
Leave behind my fears
Leave aside my anxiety
And aim at
Fulfilling what I desire
Rise towards the sky
And have some faith
In me and my
Decision for my life.
Beautiful sky
Beautiful love
Love so fair
Love so sly
Sly is who I am
Sly is the world
World so dreary
World is a dream
Dream in the night
Dream of the day
Day quite warm
Day with a charm
Charm act outward
Charm so fake
Fake is who I am
Fake is this world
World freedom
World enlightens
Enlightens the path
Enlightens my soul

Death for me and you
Death so inevitable

Well, I hope you are not angry for reading this poem(yes it is a poem) which is full of meaningless phrases and words.
But I loved writing it and I hope you are also going to love it.
Blitz is a 50-line poem, completely made up of small phrases. Rules-
1. Line 1 should be one short phrase or image.
2. Line 2 should be one short phrase or image, using the same first word as the first words of Line 1.
3. Line 3 should include the phrase, using the last word of Line 2.
4. Line 4 should include the phrase, using the last word of Line 2.
5. Line 5 should include the phrase, using the last word of Line 4.
6. Line 6 should include the phrase, using the last word of Line 4.
7. Line 7 should include the phrase, using the last word of Line 6.
8. Line 8 should include the phrase, using the last word of Line 6.
9. Keep on repeating the routine till Line 48.
10. Line 49 is the last word(only) of Line 48.
11. Line 50 is the last word(only) of Line 47.
If you have any questions, do ask them. And try it- I know it is a little time consuming and a little confusing as well, but it is quite entertaining when we write it.
The wind blows fiercely in the open sky
The wind blows fiercely,
the birds chatter by,
in the open sky.
The clothes hanging in the open
tend to go for a nice fly when
the wind blows fiercely.
The voices become distant and weak
but the whispers of the nature
in the open sky.
The apples drop down the massive tree
residing in front of my house when
the wind blows fiercely.
The leaves and the twigs flying by
unperturbed, aimlessly
in the open sky.
The power of the nature can be seen,
its might can be experienced when
the wind blows fiercely
in the open sky.
Rules-
1. Five tercets and a quatrain with 8-10 syllables in every line.
2. The first and third lines are refrains and are to be repeated as follows-

*I haven’t paid any attention to the number of syllables, since I was trying this form of poetry for the first time.
the blue sky painted
with wisps of white and grey clouds
the frog starts to croak.
When the sky’s that blue -
almost forget it’s autumn
and winter’s coming.
A sweet vehement desire
to reach the sky so high
and kiss those stars,
play with the moon-ball,
just fly care free away away and away.
I hope I was that kid again,
the desire of whom I now speak of.
How time changes, how realities become
more important than fantasies, ending
all such sweet vehement desires.
Write my love across the sky,
when you see tears of joy fall from my eye.
With pens of joy, hope and light write my love for all to see.
My love is imperfect,
but the image it was made in is not.
Love is not if it is hidden within the heart.
Why must we hold divine truth within ourselves
due to pride, ego and “propriety”.
I will not hide Love within my heart,
though foolish I may seem,
so write my love across the sky for all to see.

Campfires can be fun.
This one had something more.
We lit it as darkness had begun.
They bought the powder from the store.
The colors were amazing.
Smiles all around.
We sat around it stargazing.
Evenings like this , make me glad I stuck around.

We were in the mountains of NH last 4th of July. , We were camping and did not want to have the dog right under the firework displays so I checked out where I could take Mia, to celebrate America’s Birthday Party.
We went up the road to where NH and VT met and with a happy girl and a sad border collie we ohhed and ahhed all through the show.

Green gray
this day
warm icy wind
tickles my skin
goose bumps live
under the rain drops
solemn moods
and soaking cries
illicit friends
burning sky
birds no more
intrude
the sun snoozes
behind gray clouds
as if to never speak aloud
again to light
rejoice

My heart is racing, tap
tap, tapping on the moon
this night is a bore
the quiet stillness
I abhor
forget the blinds
up in the sky, pull
pull them down

silly night, you cannot serenade me
seducing me into your spell
I fell, I fell into my mind
to forget to sleep in time, not mine.

I was sure of it!
I still grabbed the leash.
JT sat in front of me, she loves this new thing
WALK.
We take off, even though the skies are looking crazy bad here in the mountains.
I put the phone and camera in a bag, I was certain we would be caught in a downpour.
We were not.
We reached the top of an enormous hill and it was still.
I could hear my heart beating from the steep climb
JT was having a blast chasing her stick.
I was having fun capturing some pretty shots of the sky and flowers, that waited for us at the top.
Life is GOOD, the trek back is all DOWNHILL!
