The Tiger (a pantoum)

I read the front-page news of my bad health
when seizure captured headlines big and bold.
A tiger in the woods stole all my wealth
and left me penniless, alone and cold.

When seizure captured headlines big and bold,
it told tales I will never want to read,
and left me penniless, alone and cold.
I hate its great and horrifying deed.

It told tales I will never want to read
with details of my dark unconsciousness.
I hate its great and horrifying deed,
with chaos of abilities a mess.

With details of my dark unconsciousness
I have to live alongside mystery.
With chaos of abilities a mess
I leave awhile, become an absentee.

A tiger in the woods stole all my wealth.
I read the front-page news of my bad health.
